Advisory, by inquiry

For founders, and the people who run companies with them, carrying a decision that crosses finance, law and management at once.

How I work

Four questions, the same four every time.

Most of the work is in the first two: where you are, and where you actually want to go. I work alongside your counsel and your accountant, never around them; my job is to read finance, law and management together, early, so your specialists can confirm what matters.

Engagements run as a standing seat, a single decision, or a board-level strategy session, depending on what the decision in front of you needs.

The reading runs on the TISCU Triangle™, which is mine and which I deliver myself. From November 2026 it is licensed to TISCU Consulting, and a small number of engagements stay with me personally.

What I don't do

I advise the people who run companies. I don't manage, direct, or sign for them. Budget decisions stay with you.

Q1 Where are you, exactly?
Not roughly.
Q2 Where do you want to go?
Not where you can go.
Q3 What is the road, traced backward?
From the Emerald City to today.
Q4 What can you do now?
The first three steps.

Inquire about advisory

Before you write

Tell me where you are, exactly, and where you want to go. If the answer to either is still forming, that is usually the conversation worth having.

Inquiries are answered personally. Not every one becomes an engagement.
